I. Anaemia Intervention
The identification of anaemic students and ensuring the prescribed course of treatment is adhered.
II. Adolescent Education Module
Curriculum designed specifically for tribal adolescents to address the behavioural determinants of health.
III. Health Club Activities
Engaging students in experiential learning by availing the students the opportunity to promote specific causes as ambassadors.
Program Objectives
Health Communication:
To Improve health literacy levels of the adolescents by knowledge transfer with an emphasis on self-awareness and care for physical, mental, sexual, and reproductive health.
Overcome Barriers:
To break myths, misconceptions and stereotypes around various issues that affect adolescent health.
Desired Behavioural Change:
To facilitate Behavioural Change to promote positive health behaviours that help the communities solve their pressing health problems.
Make Informed Choices:
To train the participants to work with a Goal oriented framework, develop interpersonal competencies and expose them to various career pathways to make informed choices.
